WHAT DO I BELIEVE IN? WHAT ARE MY CONCERNS?
I am a Christian: Faith is important to me. The teachings of
Jesus and prayer provide me with a strong life compass. USMC
Veteran: As a U.S. Marine, both active and in the reserves,
I treasure our founding Father's Constitution and the Bill
of Rights. I love America, Texas, and Odessa. I pray to keep
them all strong and free! Conservative Republican: City
funds should be spent wisely. I support transparency, and
accountability, protecting taxpayer dollars, and promoting
effective economic growth. Pro-Family: Family is the basic
building block of a healthy growing community. Community
Safety: To keep our homes, schools, churches, and businesses
safe. I support our Law Enforcement Officers and Fire and
Rescue. And all of our city employees. Schools: As a Texas
Test Administrator, and also as a VIP for ECISD, I believe
in safe schools for our students. Our schools should focus
on teaching reading, writing, math, science, history, music,
and of course sports and the arts. And our Odessa parents
should always have a respected voice within our schools, for
their children’s education. Ethics: All men and women
holding elected positions should strive for a high standard
of morality, good ethics, and honesty.
I voted to make Odessa a
Sanctuary for the Unborn. I know in my heart, God will bless
Odessa for protecting the unborn. Two verses came to mind,
before the vote:
Psalm 139:13 "You made all the
delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my
mother’s womb."
Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed
you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born I set you
apart.”
I am honored to be the Odessa
City Councilman, for District 4.
